Acting for the camera, whether as a spokesperson or an actual performer isn't about "performing" it's about giving good "FACE".
It's about being understated in your movement and learning how to make everything you do believable.
This workshop goes over the fundamentals and the styles to make the participant feel more comfortable in front of the "naked lens."

- Choosing audition materials
- Smiling, eye movement and hand placement
- How to act in front of a TV Studio audience
- Inflection vs. Projection
In addition participants will learn:
Participants will be performing pieces from original scripts. You will be filmed and critiqued. These will be practiced and your final performances will become your "reels". In today's industry these are must haves to obtain auditions.

This workshop can be taken by all levels of performer. It is especially beneficial to stage performers looking to make the jump into films and television or radio acting.

- Breathing for relaxation techniques
- Voice inflections
- How to tackle a cold read
- How to deal with character pieces

No cell phones allowed during class due to the distraction. Please place them on silence or in your car.
